Why I Like Hobbes: Do I have to choose only ONE reason? There are really so many reasons to like Hobbes. His loyalty to his friends. His off-the-wall manner. His willingness to better himself. His unrequited crush on The Keeper. His self-deprecating humor. His banter with Darien. The main reason I like Hobbes is that Paul Ben-Victor plays him with such skill, intensity, sensitivity and grace. People ask how I can get so wrapped up in a TV character. When a character is played so phenomenally, the character becomes a real person, and because of PB-V, Hobbes is very real to me.
